Challenge: Sunday, May 10, 2020 brought to you by Mayor David Haubert of Dublin

May 10th Daily Tapestry Script

Hello, everyone I am Dublin Mayor, David Haubert. And today’s #DailyTapestry Challenge: Share a heartwarming story about your mom. Now, today is Mother’s Day, so Happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms in Dublin and around the world.

I want to tell you about my mom, Judy Haubert. She’s the best ever. She raised 6 kids and it wasn’t easy. And a heartwarming story I have was when I got to take her to Dublin, Ireland. Now, her mom is from Ireland and she always wanted to visit, and never had the chance. So when I got to take my mom to Ireland,  it was very special. We visited Dublin and our sister city, Brey, Ireland. We got to see the wonderful landscape and the big city of Dublin, Ireland. And one of our favorite stories was when I took her to the Dublin Library. Now, my mother was a librarian for many years and when she got to see the Reading Room inside the Dublin Library, it was a very special moment for us. Well, thank you for letting me share my story about my mother. Happy Mother’s Day everyone and take care.
